Persistance pays off...

Third day on the trot at Birchwood Pool and at last a CASPIAN GULL 1st winter ,they do exist.Also present juv Iceland Gull , the adult Med again and a 2nd winter Yellow-legged Gull sorted as we say in Mancunia.

Back on the new patch(stay with me this could get very confusing) Grouchos been out and found a Yellowhammer (an unfortunately declining Cheshire bird).Theres no sign when I eventually get there but a flock of 18 Skylarks is most welcome.
