Just been surfing as one does and discovered the good old Leicester Llamas website is back.http://leicesterllama.blogspot.com/ check out the piccy of Ali G what a tosser.Mention though of the 'IQ40' club and me wonders where they nicked it from mmmm? Was'nt it the good old Comberbach Casuals Club on their illustrious tour of the Uk back in 2005 that first used this cheeky expression, well me actually hehe!
Just been down to Focalpoint and purchased the latest super duper scope to hit the market, stick one Euro in and you can see Africa (handy for the WesternPal list what)
According to Netfugl (Danish Birding Website) I'm on 667 for the WesternPal a long way to go to the dizzy heights of the 700 Club...bring it on!

Is that the infamous hubble you have there my son?
"Copyright"? "Stolen"?!!!
You obviously didn't read the post 'The Leicester Llamas - a History' very carefully, or you would have known that the IQ40 Club actually first made its appearance on the old Llamas site in about 1999, which by my maths is about 6 years before you 'first used' the expression in 2005. And we'd been using it amongst ourselves for 2 or 3 years before the site went online.
Don't worry though - a similar thing happened to me with my 'Chavinch' picture, which someone pointed out was very similar to something that had appeared on Surfbirds about 3 years ago. Which of course I hadn't seen.
It's called coincidence, and it happpens all the time...
Coincidentally, I have just found this post. I thought of blogging AGES ago, you copycat! ;)
Anyway, the question now is: which Llama thought of the phrase first? I think it me, personally, seeing as it's funny and, let's face it, I was the funny one....
:D
No Richard, you were the fat one.
...twats!!!
