ITS CHEAPER AT ICELAND...

...and just as good at Moss Side (Moore NR) with the 1st winter/juv (surely a 1st winter) ICELAND GULL showing well to the masses in Birchwood Pool hide on Friday morning. Couldn't find anything else in amongst the very flighty mass of Larus in a one hour vigil. Reports of a Little Egret feeding in a field (Spoonbill???) sent me over to Morris's farm area near Upper Moss Side but no sign of a potential Moss Side lifer.

Marbury Patch.
Dipped a Med Gull on Neumann's this morning but added Pintail and Curlew to the yearlist. With Tawny Owl and Greylag seen this past week the yearlist is virtually the same as last year..80 up by 19th Jan its gonna be another close call end of year maybe?

Patch YL - 79
