At last something to blog about...a patch year tick in the shape of a juvenile RUFF on Neumann's this morning. Also with it 2 Dunlin, 16 Golden Plover and a female Pintail. A good selection of birds mostly moulting duck and Lapwing but at least theres something to look at.
Shetland/Orkney have their birding magnets switched on at the mo with flocks of Veerys, Buff-bellied Pipits and Red eyed Vireos doubt Scillies/Cornwall will reply in the coming weeks...please please can we have a cheap October!
