STINT...STIS...?

Hi folks, a brief wader fest on Neumann's this past week has produced yet another Curlew Sandpiper, a Ruff, several Dunlin and the usual Blackwit, Golden Plover and Snipe. Patch mega!! alert went out when a Stint sp (well actually a Little but there were doubters?) caused a minor stir. LITTLE STINT thats the 27th wader species this year, must be a record?
Otherwise its well quiet with all of the Summer stuff gone and Autumn migrants now departed or passed through. Redwings and my first Fieldfare of the pending Winter seen today. A Goldeneye back on Neumann's is a sure sign the clocks are due to go back or forward or whatever it is they do (why bloodywell bother).
