Ronnie looks on as the rest of the local patchers play catchup with 'Beyonce' the Bittern as it sort of shows in the far reed bed. I'd earlier seen it fly down the mere, scope views obtained (luckily I had it out and erected!!) and drop to where it was now. An attempt by Bath chair Boy (aka Insomniac1) to 'leap' over the fence and go in proved fruitless...bloody flusher!Not much else of note really with the mere still 95% frozen and a horde of bank holiday revellers flooding the park paths if there was owt about then its done one. Still a good addition to the well started 2011 PYL, lets hope its a sign of things to come.
