NO TIPPING

Did a bit of gulling from the naughty side of Richmond Bank this Sunday morning. A good assortment of gulls on the exposed mud even for a non active tip day included a nice 1st winter Iceland Gull...

From the extensive reed bed thats grown along the south bank I heard the distinctive call of a Cetti's Warbler a cracking bird for Moss Side and a goody for the Self Found List. More was yet to come as I walked back over the old tip I flushed a Jack Snipe that's probably rarer than Cetti's Warbler at Moss Side, storming stuff. Only my second ever at the old stomping ground. Now for the Sunday chores...great!
