A very sad day Thursday 30th Oct Debs and I lost our best friend Tasha, truly the best doggy ever godbless her.
Rescued from the bullet at Cheshire Dogs Home in Feb.2002 she soon settled in for a life of luxury at 2 Chapel House,Comberbach. Walked everyday on the patch her bird list (counting all the twitches she went on) must have been impressive. A fiery temper sometimes showed her dark side and she could certainly stick up for herself in a fight, good on her. Spoilt rotten by her doting owners she travelled far and wide across the Uk including five trips to Scilly. Tasha's best fined being a Bluethroat flushed from the reedy edge of the pool on St.Agnes. Last year she survived the big C and came through a major operation (thank god we got her insured, Petplan must hate us) but unfortunately it came back with a vengeance this October and an exploratory operation confirmed the worse. The phone conversation I had with the vet was the most painful thing I've ever experienced, we rushed to the surgery to be with her before she departed to doggy heaven. RIP TASHA
