Notched up my third Kittiwake find on the patch yesterday with an adult on the mere late afternoon. Not wanting egg on my face after the gulls I've tried to ID at Moore and not having my scope I called for backup (Malc). He duly arrived and yes one pristine adult Kittiwake confirmed and witnessed! With a Barn Swallow seen earlier the Kitty brings up 100 for the Marbury Patch Yearlist plus a Cheshire year tick and a UK year tick, a treble whammy.
MCP YL - 100
UK YL - 175
