DIDCOT DIP

The Oxfordshire gull mecca of Didcot was an Azorean/Baltic/Yellow-legged free zone when I popped in at dinnertime this Tuesday. On show though was that ancient English scavenger Red Kite and several of these majestic birds were harassing the local gulls. Crippling views of a class raptor, I managed to digibin the one below. A tour along the M40 corridor produced my highest count ever with over 50 Kites seen...amazing! these bloody Southerners are truly spoilt.
