GOOD PADDING THIS WEEKEND

Prize catch this weekend was the well predicted adult LITTLE GULL that stayed most of Saturday. The weather a mixture of southerly winds ish/rain/bright sunshine helped many summer migrants finally reach the patch. Year ticks included Whitethroat, Reed and Sedge Warbler plus several Groppers.

This Long tailed Tit had built its minature nest well before the local vegetation had bloomed another indicator of how late this Spring has been.

Seeing double or should you go to 'Specsavers'...one of the now regular Whimbrel that drop into Ashton's en route north.
Latest padder 3 Dunlin all with black bellies on Neumann's post rain shower making 7 species of wader there.
MARBURY 2010 YEAR LIST - 110 92.44% of total
