Dave (we have lift off) Houston strikes again with the 24th species of wader on the patch this year. This mornings goody was a fine juvenile CURLEW SANDPIPER showing on and off at Neumann's, which I managed to catch up with after work...phew! Despite negative news from Groucho (SpecSavers mate!) I decided to give it a search and the boy appeared on the spit with 2 juv LRPs in tow. Flushed by the local Lapwings it did one into The Mound Bay where the opposition arrived (from down South) just in time to whap it on.Thats 131 for The Patch Year List...94.93% of total (138)
What next me wonders???...
