BLOWJOB ON THE WIZZAL...

Sunset over The Tiwzzal or Blinded by the Light take your pick, after a cracking evenings seawatching when the North West lives upto its Autumn Petrel Fest and delivers in style. After Big Al's and Mr Conlin's awesome find the day before anything could be possible, that's the beauty of wave watching. I arrived at the dogging site to find Insomniac2 already grilling the froth (is this guy stalking me???)...within 90minutes I'd seen 70+ Leach's some so close the scope would not focus. Great Skua and Manx Shear were additions to the Cheshire Year List (not that I'm seriously doing one honest) plus tons of terns, auks, gulls, small dark shearing things wayout to sea, waders of all sizes and shapes plus some big windmill things.
Legged it upto the Wryneck site but not a sausage or Wryneck for that matter...a Cheshire tick goes begging once again still back to the sea and watch more Leach's flapping along the beach...brill stuff.
Oh yes nearly forgot the shinnanigans this morning when the duo were already onsite but tough cos whap Pod grips back the Insomniac Club with nice views of Barney the Barnacle from the mound at Neumann's.
PATCH YEAR LIST 135
