REDSTART AND END

One week later and theres now TWO Redstarts on the Patch, both skulking in the scrub by Bund Hide like Pittas in a rain forest...unbelievable stuff. Well and truly nailed by one and all of the Patch regulars I would think. One of those Black ones now would be a great grip back for yours truly having missed last years blocker by several hours.
Been doing a fare few miles for the firm this past week and have managed to nip into a few sites on the way...

and at the weekend a really splendid Garden tick in the shape of a superb COMMA


feeding on our huge(ish) Buddlia along with LARGE WHITE and SMALL TORTOISESHELL
