Saturday morning and Spring has sprung early so it seems,Groucho and I are enroute to the Moss Side Gull Emporium but first theres a most welcome local patch yeartick at the flashes.
We join the gathered throng.Fred has driven the 200yds from his home in Marston while Gregs has flown in from Chicago (well not litterally speaking),Vern and BT are already there cos its their find (good one chaps).
A large flock of Lesser Redpoll somehow went unmentioned by those present(Gregs my perennial adversary) but typically there was no grip back for Groucho and I of the 'Mealy' claimed a week or two ago.2m+1f Goldeneye were also on the flash.
Earlier on whilst walking the dog,I'd heard the Marbury CP speciality Lesser Pecker near the boat house at Budworth Mere.
