Two flipping **MEGA ALERTS** in two days and their both still there. Luckily I don't need the Portland Collared Fly (seen 2 - Margate and Holkam) but definitely need the Dunge Lark. Gordon Brown has got a lot to answer for.
On a brighter note a nice couple of padders for the year list (honestly its just a coincidence) aided by free travel has seen me get the Willington Whiskered Tern plus Swift and the Oldham Dotterels (fancy seeing you there Doc!). I must be the best dressed twitcher in Britain.
On the patch tonight (MCP) the Swifts have finally arrived but virtually all the Winter/late Spring stuff has now gone, its gonna be a tough 24hour Big Day on the 9th.
