The local patch (Marbury/Neumann's Flash area) just ticks along with nothing to report of late. This Great Spot near Haydn's Pool showed of its new ring, they've had a good year with ten plus pairs on the patch. Haydn's still held a good selection of waders but not a Woody, Stint, Ruff or Knot in sight even though the water level is ideal.
The juvenile LRP still present usually at the back of the island.
Two Green Sandpipers remain one of which was freaking out and having a splashing fit!
The two Dunlin are hanging on in there, the juv looking nothing like a Baird's Sand..doh!Off to the Emerald Isle for a weeks seawatching, Guinness sampling and Gregs's 50th Birthday celebrations so hopefully I'll be blogging later with tails of pterodromas and shearwaters sp.
